I have re-visited this piece and finished it. Pluto has fallen from orbit/the galaxy/window pane. Installed directly on the floor, preferably under or near a window.

Please put Pluto back in, as it is a planet. As a dynamic world with geology and weather, Pluto shows it has more in common with the other, bigger planets than it does with most Kuiper Belt Objects except the few large ones, which should be considered planets too. Most KBOs in Pluto’s orbital path are tiny and do not have these features. These images show that before making definitive classifications, we should first get the data and analyze it; otherwise, we are defining objects without knowing significant factors about them.
ReplyDeletei make work that is populist. if popular opinion is that pluto no longer a planet then i can reflect and comment upon it. and actually, if you follow the logic of the piece it is actually arguing your point that you've posted in both iterations of this piece. 'Eternal Night (247.7 Years)' takes a sincere longing look at a planet(oid) that is in a sad shape.
