Newness, or the Fresh Prince of Winter Park

I moved to Winter Park, Florida, earlier this week for a one year position at Rollins College. I'm really excited about it and have spend the past week setting up my place, organizing myself, polishing my classes, and setting up my "studio".
Today I found a pretty nice coffeehouse by Lake Rose (which was formed in the '80's by a sinkhole... that was caused by groundwater over-use). This lake has some great examples of invasive plants growing around it.
Being in a new place, by myself, and having to essentially re-start my studio practice is both stressful and exciting. Everything I do or think about seems light and full of possibilities, but I am also working against the feeling of being un-grounded. I would like it if I could leave my studio un-grounded in a productive way.
